4:51 PM: *Note to The Ataris: Bleeding and destroying your instruments onstage hasn't been cool since Kurt Cobain died*
So I made the mistake of watching The Ataris live at the Hard Rock Cafe on MTV last night. What a shitty performance. First of all, they only played one non-"so long, astoria" song (san dimas high school football rules), the lead singer had no real presence onstage, and they only played for like twenty minutes. Then came the real kicker...this guy:thought it would be really punk of him to go fucking nuts with the microphone, hitting his mouth with it, making himself bleed, in addition to destroying his guitar and the drum kit at the end of san dimas high school football rules. yeah, real cool kris...
all i have to say is, the ataris better watch out before they become the next
