Belle & Sebastian and the New Pornographers to tour in Spring '06



Stuart Murdoch, king of all media and frontman for Belle and Sebastian, will be coming (with the rest of the band, of course) to America this spring for a brief tour with fellow Matadorians the New Pornographers.

If the reception to B&S's last two albums are any indication, this could be the tour that helps the band achieve some real success in the American music market, as The Life Pursuit is the band's most straightforward album to date. Belle and Sebastian finally ditch the library and walk outside for a breath of fresh air, AM radio in hand. 70's groovin all over the place, sunny, Legal Man-esque vocal harmonies, and even a few synths thrown in here and there. Should be a great show.
